Our Company
Virtus Ingeniería SL. was founded in 2005 to grow in the different areas of Engineering, Business Development, Project Management and Agent Representation.
Virtus has developed strong collaboration with international companies to support their business development in the Spanish market as well as a strong network with Tier 1 clients such as Construction, EPCs, Engineering companies and Equity Funds.
Virtus is made off a Group of companies that work in different sectors.
The main sectors that we work with are:
- Oil and Gas
- More than 15 years of supplier’s client support to do business development and consolidate their range of products with Spanish EPC, Construction, Engineering and Oil and Gas Companies. We act as an agent to key industrial suppliers, guiding them in the opening of new business opportunities.
- Renewable Energy
- More than 10 years in Construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of windfarms and solar farms. More than 5.000Mws built of wind farms and maintained through one of the companies in the Group. In 2011, the company was sold to a British Engineering Group.
- Project Development. Partner up with Infrastructure fund to jointly develop a portfolio of projects. Currently we are consolidating a portfolio of more than 700Mws.
- Waste to Energy
- (www.pfteng.com) We have our own technology for Synthetic gas. Gasification is a process that uses heat, pressure, and steam to convert materials directly into gas. It has been in use for many years, and involves breaking down complex organic molecules and carbon, in both liquid and solid state, into simple gases.The syn-gas consists largely of carbon dioxide and H2 and contains a large percentage of the inherent chemical energy of the input fuel. Currently we are commissioning our first commercial plant of 20000tons/year.
